Simba is injured, but leaps up a river dam to security, making several logs slide on Kovu's brother Nuka, who tried to prevent him from escaping and dies from his accidents. Kovu is blamed for his Loss of life, and Zira strikes Kovu along with her claws and gives him a scar about his eye that resembles Scar's. He then flees on the Pleasure Lands in
